Our History...
In 1933, Leo Krebs founded Krebs Brothers Supply Company in downtown Little Rock, Arkansas. In the early years of the company, the merchandise offered was similar to a hardware store-- including Sargent Locks and Sterling paint. As years passed, Krebs Brothers evolved into the dominant restaurant equipment supply company in Arkansas. The company quickly expanded its customer base which included hotels, hospitals, schools, and restaurants. Leo went on to be a well-known philanthropist in the Little Rock area and eventually passed the company's torch to his brother-in-law, John Hain.
Mr. Hain worked for the company from July 1950 until his 50th anniversary in July 2000. In 1978, he helped facilitate the company's move from West Capitol Street to Westpark Avenue, expanding the capabilities of Krebs Brothers. Also during this time, the parts department was created. 
John still comes by Krebs Brothers every now and then to check up on us, tell one of his stories, or offer advice.
Wally Gieringer Jr. joined Krebs Brothers in 1995, continuing the tradition of Mr. Krebs and Mr. Hain. When the company moved to North Little Rock in 2006, it was the beginning of another chapter in the history of Krebs Brothers, with a new, larger, location. The move gave the company the opportunity to open a new endeavor: a retail outlet. In July 2008, The Restaurant Store officially opened to the public.
